Impressions from Corsika

A big stone in the middle of a sea ... thats Corsika ... stunnig nature in the highlands where I saw even parts of snow !!! in August and a marveles coastline with lonesome beaches and breathtaking rivers in the middle of pure nature!!!

It's simply my favorite Isle !!!

Back from Corsika

Nach einer atemberaubenden Reise über die Insel Korsika hier zwei Itoigawa-Tanukis auf Juniperus oxycederus. Das Totholz hat 265 Jahresringe, wobei das Zentrum selbst verwittert ist ... also ein sehr altes Stück Holzgeschichte.Von einem eingetauschten Juniperus Itoigawa ( Import aus Japan) hatte ich Anfang des Jahres einige Abmoosungen langer Ruten gemacht.Nach 4 Monaten zeigten alle in ihren Plastiktaschen wunderbare Wurzeln ... also ...dran ans Totholz ... in ein paar Jahren wird sicher was ganz feines daraus.

 After a breathtaking trip over the island Corsica here two Itoigawa-Tanukis on Juniperus oxycederus. The dead wood has 265 annual rings and the centre itself has weathered... a very old piece of wooden history.
From a tradet Juniperus Itoigawa (import from Japan) I had made at the beginning of the year some airlayers of long rods. After 4 months all rods show miraculous roots in her plastic pockets...... ok, set it on to the dead wood... in a few years I am sure it will be a quite fine stuff.  Después de un viaje impresionante de la isla Córcega aquí dos Itoigawa-Tanukis en Juniperus oxycederus. La madera muerta tiene 265 anillos anuales y el propio centro ha aguantado... una muy vieja pieza de la historia de madera.
De Juniperus Itoigawa cambio (importan de Japón) había hecho a principios del año algún airlayers de varas largas. Después de 4 meses todas las varas muestran raíces milagrosas en sus bolsillos plásticos...... bien, lo ponen en la madera muerta... en unos años estoy seguro que será una materia completamente fina.

Ein Larixtanuki aus dem Jahr 2010. Die Borke ist mit Holzhärter behandelt ... ich möchte sie ungern verlieren. In ein paar Jahren wird das Teil sicher recht eindrucksvoll sein wenn die bislang noch nicht geschlossenen Stellen zwischen Totholz und lebendem Stamm verwachsen sein werden.

A Larixtanuki from 2010. The bark is treated with wood hardener ... I would not like to lose this barkparts. In a few years the tanuki will be surely rather impressive if the places between dead wood and living trunk will be closed.

Un Larixtanuki a partir de 2010. La corteza es tratada con la madera hardener... No me gustaría perder este partes de tronco. En unos años el tanuki será seguramente bastante impresionante si los sitios entre madera muerta y tronco vivo estarán cerrados.

Diese Lärche ist aus einer Hecke, wurde abgemoost und hat daher noch lange Zeit kein verwertbares Nebari. Dennoch ein recht passabler Literat.

This 57 years old larch is out of a hedge, is airlayerd and, hence, needs still long time to get a useful Nebari. Still a rather tolerable bunjingi in a rock slap made by myself.

Este alerce es fuera de un seto, es airlayerd y, de ahí, todavía necesita útil mucho tiempo para conseguir Nebari . Todavía bunjingi bastante tolerable en una maceta de rocka de mis creationes.

Diese Eiche stammt aus dem Jahre 2009. Ich habe sie jetzt auf eine Felsenschale gesetzt, sie ist bislang gut angewachsen und die Felsmodule helfen den Nebarimangel ein wenig auf zu heben. Sie hat bislang noch nicht ihre gewünschte Feinverzweigung ... sie ist aber auf einem guten Weg.



This oak comes from 2009. I have put it now on a rock bowl, it has grown up to now well and the rock modules help to lift on the Nebaridefizit a little. It does not have yet up to now its desired fine branching ...  however, it is on a good way.

Este roble viene a partir de 2009. Lo he puesto ahora sobre una bola de roca, ha crecido hasta ahora bien y los módulos de roca ayudan a levantar en Nebaridefizit un poco. Esto no tiene aún hasta ahora su bifurcación fina deseada... sin embargo, está en un camino bueno.
