Urbandori Le Blanc ... Juniperus Squamata

Bei dem Besuch einer hervorragenden Bonsaiausstellung im Oktober in Genf, bei der 14 Arbeitskreise aus ganz Frankreich und der Schweiz pro Arbeitskreis 7 ihrer besten Bonsai zur Ausstellung brachten, hatte ich das Glück und das Vergnügen, von Phillip Le blanc und seiner Familie eingeladen worden zu sein und seine Gastfreundschaft zu genießen. Am Ende des Aufenthaltes hatte ich das Glück, noch einen Urbandori, der von Ihm vor 3 Jahren aus einem Pflanzkasten gerettet wurde, in meine Sammlung einzureihen ;-). Phillip hat damals bereits eine Zeichnung über die Gestaltung dieses Juniperus Squamata angefertigt, die ich natürlich umsetzen möchte. Insgesamt ist es ein sehr beeindruckender Baum mit sehr hohen, individuellen Charaktereigenschaften und ich werde mir, wahrscheinlich in den Wintermonaten, sehr viel Zeit nehmen, um einen guten Bonsai daraus zu gestalten. During the visit of an excellent bonsai exhibition in October in Geneva with which 14 working groups from completely France and Switzerland brought per working group 7 of their best bonsai to the exhibition, I had the luck and the pleasure to have been invited by Phillip Le blanc and his family and to enjoy his hospitality. At the end of the stay I had the luck to put one more Urbandori, which was saved by Phillip 3 years ago from a urban planting, into my collection. At that time Phillip has already made a drawing about the future creation of this Juniperus Squamata which I would like to move of course :-). All together it is a very impressive tree with very high, individual traits and I will take, probably during the winter months, a lot of time to form a good bonsai . Many thanks again to Phillip.

Durante la visita de una exposición de bonsai excelente en octubre en Ginebra con la cual 14 grupos de trabajo de completamente Francia y Suiza trajeron por grupo de trabajo 7 de su mejor bonsai a la exposición, yo tenía la suerte y el placer para haber sido invitado por Phillip Le blanc y su familia y disfrutar de su hospitalidad. Al final de permanencia yo tenía la suerte para poner uno más Urbandori, que fue salvado por Phillip hace 3 años de una plantación urbana, en mi colección. Entonces Phillip ha hecho ya un dibujo sobre la futura creación de este Juniperus Squamata que me gustaría mover por supuesto :-). Todos juntos es un árbol muy impresionante con rasgos muy altos, individuales y tomaré, probablemente durante los meses de invierno, mucho tiempo para formar un bonsai bueno. Another step vorward ...i hope it will not be a step backwards

Heute habe ich einen Schritt gemacht, bei dem ich mir nicht sicher bin, ob es der Richtige war.Ich habe die Äste der Fichte in Postionen gezogen und dabei nochmals die Grünmasse reduziert. Der Gedanke dabei war, die Grünmasse dem reduzierten Wurzelwerk anzugleichen und somit ein Gleichgewicht zwischen Wurzelapperat und der zu versorgenden Blattmasse herzustellen. Dabei war mir aber immer in Gedanken, dass Piceas " zicken" und möglicherweise ich nun damit statt einen Schritt vorwärts einen Schritt zurück getan habe oder sogar einen Neuaustrieb im nächsten Frühjahr völlig unterbunden habe, weil ich zu viele Knospenanlagen reduziert habe. Ich muss es einfach abwarten und sehen ob eine solche Behandlung eines Fichten-yamadoris die Richtige war ... Man muss ja manchmal leidvolle Erfahrungen sammeln ... hoffentlich geschieht das nun nicht gerade bei diesem Picea-yamadori.

Today I have taken a step with which I am not sure whether it was the right thing.I have pulled the branches of the spruce in postal ions and besides I have reduced the green mass. The present thought was to adapt the green mass to the diminished rootcapacity and to produce therefore a balance between roots and the leavemass to be supplied. However it was to me always in mind that Piceas "goats" and possibly I have done instead of one step forward with this treatment one step backwards or perhaps prevented completely even a sprout in next spring because I have reduced too many bud arrangements. I must simply wait for it and see whether such a treatment of a Picea-yamadori was the right thing ... One must collect sometimes grievous experiences... hopefully it happens not now exactly with this Picea-yamadori.

Hoy he dado un paso con que no estoy seguro si era la cosa correcta.He tirado las ramas de la picea en iones postales y además he reducido la masa verde. El pensamiento presente debía adaptar la masa verde a rootcapacity disminuido y producir por lo tanto un equilibrio entre raíces y el leavemass para ser suministrado. Sin embargo era a mí siempre en mente que "cabras" Piceas y posiblemente he hecho en vez de un paso adelante con este tratamiento un paso hacia atrás o quizás he prevenido completamente hasta un brote en la próxima primavera porque he reducido demasiados arreglos de brote. Yo debo esperarlo simplemente y ver si tal tratamiento de un Picea-yamadori era la cosa correcta... Hay que coleccionar experiencias a veces penosas... con esperanza esto pasa no ahora exactamente con este Picea-yamadori.bei diesem Picea-yamadori.

Another Spruce found the way ... ;-)

Mit Erlaubnis des Eigentümers und dem Ernten von Unverständnis und einem mächtigen "Stirnrunzeln" über das Vorhaben, solch kleine "unnütze Fichten" ausgraben zu wollen, fand diese sehr schöne aufrechte Picea abies den Weg in meine Sammlung. Sie stand in sehr gutem Boden und wurde über viele Jahre wohl immer von den Kühen auf dieser Hochweide zurückgebissen. Nach grobem Einkürzen der unteren Astpartien bis zu einem Drittel, zeigte sie einen wunderbaren Stammverlauf, ein sehr schönes Nebari und bietet sich geradezu an, zu einer aufrechten Form im Laufe der Jahre gestaltet zu werden.Zunächst kommt es jedoch darauf an, weil Piceas "Zicken" ja gern einmal ;-), ihre Vitalität zu und ihre Bewurzelung zu stärken. Sie wird sicher ein lohnendes , viele Jahre des Aufbau in Anspruch nehmendes Projekt werden.
Sie erhält den Namen ... Die schöne Aufrechte ... La belle droite ... weil sie Frnkreich gesammelt wurde.

With permission of the owner and the reaping of lack of understanding and a mighty forehead wrinkle about the plan wanting to dig out such small "pointless spruces" these very nice straight Picea abies found the way in my collection. It stood in very good ground and was probably browsed many years from the cows on this high-level pasture . After cutting of the lower branches parts up to one third it showed a miraculous trunk course, a very nice Nebari and it almost offers to be formed to a straight form in the course of the years.Nevertheless, first it depends on it, because Piceas "goats" with pleasure sometimes ;-) to strengthen its vitality and its rootage. It certainly will get a worthwhile of a many years of construction taking up project . It receives the name... The nice straight... La belle droite ... because it was collected in France .

Con el permiso del dueño y la cosecha de carencia del entendimiento y una arruga de frente fuerte sobre el plan que quiere desenterrar tales pequeñas "piceas inútiles" éstos Picea abies muy agradable encontró el camino en mi colección. Esto estuvo de pie en la tierra muy buena y fue probablemente hojeado muchos años de las vacas en este pasto de alto nivel. Después de cortar de las partes de ramas inferiores hasta un tercero esto mostró un curso de tronco milagroso, Nebari muy agradable y esto casi ofrece ser formado a una forma directa en el curso de los años.Sin embargo, primero esto depende de ello, porque "cabras" Piceas con el placer a veces ;-) para reforzar su vitalidad y su rootage. Seguramente se pondrá un que vale la pena de muchos años de producción que toman proyectan. Ella recibe el nombre... La derecha hermosa... La belle droite ... porque en Francia era recogido.

Another Spruce from the upper Jura ...

Wie man sehen kann, stand diese aufrechte Picea abies auf einem Baumstumpf und hatte dementsprechend einseitig ausgeprägte Wurzeln. Dies stellt bei herkömmlichen Bonsaischalen einen offensichtlichen Mangel dar, da der Baum keine logische Postion in der Schale finden kann ... oder zumindest es große gestalterische Probleme aufdeckt die bewältigt werden müssen.Ich habe die Picea auf eine Felsenschale gesetzt und sie somit in ein Landschaftsbild integriert. Diese Picea ist nun lediglich grob zurück geschnitten und muss sich erst einmal in den nächsten Jahren kräftigen und wird dann erst gestaltet in eine aufrechte, für ihr Erscheinungsbild im Gebirge, typische Form.

As one can see, these straight Picea abies stood on a stump and had accordingly unilaterally distinctive roots. This shows an evident lack with customary bonsai bowls, because the tree can not find a logical Postion in the bowl... or at least it makes big formative problems which must be mastered.I have plantet the Picea on a rock bowl and integrated it therefore into a landscape. Now these Picea is merely cut back roughly and must strengthen itself first of all during the next years and then it will be formed in a straight, for its appearance in the mountains, typical form.

Cuando uno puede ver, éstos Picea abies estuvieron de pie en un tocón y tenían en consecuencia unilateralmente raíces distintivas. Esto muestra una carencia evidente con platos hondos de bonsai acostumbrados, porque el árbol no puede encontrar un Postión lógico en el maceta... o al menos esto hace problemas formativos grandes que deben ser dominados. Tengo plantar el Picea en un maceta de roca y lo integré por lo tanto en un paisaje. Ahora estos Picea son simplemente reducidos aproximadamente y deben reforzarse en primer lugar durante los próximos años y luego será formado en un directo, para su aspecto en las montañas, forma típica.

A stunning Picea abies found the way into my garden

Ich hatte ein wunderbares Wochenende bei Bonsaifreunden im oberen Jura ... In Genf fand eine Ausstellung der besten Bonsai von insgesamt 14 Arbeitskreisen aus ganz Frankreich und der Schweiz statt. Dabei fand eine unglaubliche Picea abies den Weg in meinen Garten ;-). Ihr Gewicht beträgt ca. 60 kg und das Nebari und das Tachiagari ist im Vergleich zu einem aufgestellten Feuerzeug leicht zu ermessen.Ihr Wurzelapparat ist hervorragend ausgebildet und sie strozt nur vor Vitalität. Ich bin mir ganz sicher, dass aus ihr einmal in einigen Jahren eine ganz besondere Fichte werden wird. Sie ist die beeindruckenste von einigen schönen Praebonsai die meinen Garten und meine Sammlung berreichern werden ... Ich werde darüber berichten ... ;-)

I had a miraculous week-end with bonsai friends in the mountains called "upper Jura"... In Geneva I joint an exhibition were the best Bonsai from a total of 14 working groups round of completely France and Switzerland took place. An unbelievable Picea abies found the way with it in my garden. Their weight amounts to approx. 60 kg ;-) and the Nebari and the Tachiagari is easy put up in comparison to alighter to estimate.Their root-apparatus is trained very well and it is full of vitality. I am quite sure in some years I will create a quite special spruce . It is one of some nice Praebonsai which found their way into my garden and they will fill my collection anyway ... I will report about that... ;-)

Yo tenía un fin de semana milagroso con amigos de bonsai en las montañas llamadas "Jura superior"... En Ginebra junto una exposición eran el mejor Bonsai de un total de 14 grupos de trabajo por ahí de completamente Francia y Suiza ocurrió. Una increíble Picea abies encontró el camino con ello en mi jardín. Su peso asciende a aprox. 60 kilogramos y el Nebari y el Tachiagari ;-) es fácil presentado en comparación con alighter para estimar. Su aparato de la raíz es entrenado muy bien y es lleno de la vitalidad. Estoy completamente seguro en algunos años crearé una picea completamente especial. Es uno de algunos Praebonsai agradables que encontraron su camino en mi jardín y ellos llenarán mi colección de todos modos... Haré un informe sobre esto... ;-)

A new yamadori Thuja plicata - Western Red Cedar

Diese Thuja stand, laut Aussage des Besitzers, seit ca. 20 Jahren in einem Sandsteintrog am Rande einer Straße. Oft bin ich daran vorbeigefahren und dann fasste ich den Entschluß einfach mal zu Fragen ... Die Besitzerin war schnell überzeugt weil ... ein so altes Bäumchen doch nicht ordentlich ausschaut und sie sowieso etwas neues, kleines in den Trog pflanzen wollte ... Ja nun ;-) ich habe dann einen Termin mit ihr vereinbart und für ein kleines Geld zur Beschaffung eines neuen , kleinen Bäumchens war diese alte Thuja schnell ausgepflanzt und fand den Weg in meine Sammlung als Praebonsai. Sie wurde in Lava mit Sphagnum an den kritischen Stellen eingesetzt, die Menge des Laubes stark reduziert, die Äste leicht gezogen, damit alle Stellen Licht bekommen und nun kann die Thuja ersteinmal Kraft sammeln. Ich denke sie hat ein großes Potential und wird in einigen Jahren sicher was tolles werden .. wenn sie überlebt ... wovon ich eigentlich ausgehe ;-)

These Thuja stood, according to statement of the owner, for approx. 20 years in a sandstone trough on the edge of a street. Often I have driven past it and then I made the decision simply to ask the owner... The owner was fast persuaded because... "such an old small tree, nevertheless, not substantially looks fine and she wanted to plant a little bit new and small in the trough " - anyhow , ... Yes now ;-) then I agreed on an appointment with her and for small money to the procurement of a new, small tree was these old Thuja fast replantet and it found the way in my collection as a Praebonsai. It is plantet in lava with Sphagnum at the critical places, the amount of the foliage strongly reduced, the branches easily pulled for it that all places got light and now the Thuja can collect strength. I think it has a great potential and will become in some years certainly a great one - if it survives... what I assume actually ;-)

Estos Thuja estuvieron de pie, según la declaración del dueño, durante aprox. 20 años en una artesa de piedra arenisca en el borde de una calle. A menudo he ido en coche por delante de ello y luego tomé la decisión simplemente de preguntar al dueño... El dueño fue rápido persuadido porque... "un tan viejo pequeño árbol, sin embargo, no considerablemente parece fino y ella quiso a la planta un poquito nueva y pequeña en la artesa" - o.K. ... Sí ahora;-) entonces convine en una cita con ella y para el pequeño dinero a la consecución de un nuevo, pequeño árbol era estos viejos Thuja rápido replantet y esto encontró el camino en mi colección como un Praebonsai. Es plantet en la lava con el Esfagno en los sitios críticos, la cantidad del follaje fuertemente reducido, las ramas fácilmente tiradas para ello que todos los sitios se hicieron ligeros y ahora el Thuja puede coleccionar la fuerza. Pienso que esto tiene un gran potencial y se hará en algunos años seguramente gran uno - si esto sobrevive... lo que asumo realmente;-)
