Ready for an exhibition ... temporary ...

With this approx. 95 year-old Larix decidua I have done, approx. 25 years ago, a location change out of the Italian Dolomites up here in the north of Germany. Their bonsai pot is chosen rather suboptimal, it is too big, too bulky and does not fit from the colour to its natural habitat in the lime nightmares. At that time I have put it on a small lava stone and now I am bound by the production of a speciall rock bowl to be produced for it to the lava optics. It has to be set on a new rock bowl because it tips away in her trunk course to the back and should turne and grow to the viewer again.

This tree is beautiful.

Personally I would reduce it a little height. To make a less sharp peak.
This would give it a more even venerable look.
I would love to be the owner of a such tree.
Bravo.

Thank you for your comment Philippe. Indeed, old larches do not grow with such a distinctive Apix , there you are right and show a good eye for looking to the habitus of Trees in nature ;-).
I will think to myself very intensely about that and follow your advice.

Greetings to your family and a lot of fun in the maybe soon coming spring. Its about time , don't you think so ?
