The final creation got closer... Juniperus media 'Old gold'...

Dieser Wacholder wurde ca. 1995 in einer stillgelegten Ausstellungsfläche von mir vor der Rodung gerettet und aus der Erde gezogen. Damals hatte er bereits ein Alter von ca. 35 Jahren, so dass ich mit einem Alter von ungefähr 50 Jahren ausgehe. Er hat viele Phasen der Rekonvaleszenz durchgemacht und kümmerte in den ersten Jahren recht stark und ich beobachtete es mit Freude, wie er sich langsam erholte und kräftigere Austriebe zeigte. Gestern ergab es sich dann ganz spontan, das ich mit Anne an einer weiteren Annäherung an seine Solitärform gearbeitet habe und das Ergebnis, denke ich, ist zunächst überzeugend. Die Astpartien sind vorerst lediglich grob ausgerichtet und noch nicht durchgestaltet. Dennoch vermittelt er bereits einen imposanten Eindruck des natural style der Bonsaiart ... keine strenge Komposition im klassischen Sinne, sondern eine Einbettung in ein Landschaftsgefüge mit eigener Aussagekraft. Die angesetzten Wurzel- bzw. Stammpartien stammen aus dem Hochareal der Sierra Nevada bei Granada (Andalusien) und sind Totholzteile von einem dort gewachsenen Juniperus.

This juniper was saved and duged out of the earth by me in 1995 in a closed exhibition area before the clearing. At that time it had an age of approx. 35 years so that I think it should be around 50 years by now. It has gone through many phases of convalescence and struggled a lot in the first years and I observed with joy how it recovered and started slowly to grow stronger. Yesterday then it turned out quite spontaneously that I have worked with Anne on another approach to its solitaireform and the result, I think, is quite persuasive. The branch parts are aimed merely roughly for the time being and not yet styled. Still it mediates an imposing impression of natural style of the bonsaiart ... no strict composition in the classical sense, but an embedding in a scenic structure with its own explanatory power. The set root or trunk parts come from the high-level area of the Sierra Nevada near Granada (Andalusia) and are dead wood parts of a Juniperus grown there.

Este enebro fue salvado y sacar de la tierra por mí en 1995 en un área de exposición cerrada antes del limpiado. Entonces esto tenía una edad de aprox. 35 años de modo que yo piense que deberían ser aproximadamente 50 años ya. Esto ha pasado por muchas fases de la convalecencia y ha luchado mucho en los primeros años y observé con la alegría como esto se recuperó y comenzó despacio a ponerse más fuerte. Ayer entonces resultó completamente espontáneamente que he influido con Anne en otro acercamiento a su forma solitario y el resultado, pienso, es completamente persuasivo. Las partes de rama son apuntadas simplemente aproximadamente por el momento y todavía no diseñadas. De todos modos esto no media una impresión imponente del estilo natural del bonsaiart... ninguna composición estricta en el sentido clásico, pero una fijación en una estructura escénica con su propio poder explicativo. La raíz de juego o las partes de tronco vienen del área de alto nivel de la Sierra Nevada cerca de Granada (Andalucía) y están partes de madera muertas de un Juniperus cultivado allí.
